Saturday, Sept. 21, 7-9pm, Lincoln Kirtan Fundraiser for Ma Sharanam with Swami Gurusharanananda

Join the Lincoln Kirtan band and community to welcome back our beloved Swami Gurusharanananda to lead an ecstatic night of kirtan. We will sing some of the wonderful chants that have uplifted us in the past, such as “Hara Hara Hara Shambhu, Shambhu Namah Shivaya.” Many of us remember how we end this chant by singing at the top of our lungs in call and response, “Bola Bam / Hara Hara! Hara Hara / Mahadev!” And, the best part of this evening is that, while we are experiencing the Oneness of the Divine, all donations will benefit Ma Sharanam Ashram and School, Swamiji’s school in Madhya Pradesh that offers both a conventional and spiritual education to hundreds of village boys and girls. For those who have yet to see Swamiji in action, this is a great opportunity to hear his incredible voice full of devotion and joy. St. Anne’s in the Fields Episcopal Church, 147 Concord Ave., Lincoln, MA     

7-9 pm, suggested donation $20-$30.   

All proceeds go to Ma Sharanam Ashram in India.
